Here it is...Eclipse
It seems the day has finally arrived. DA has changed its old site for this new one. I don´t know how good this Eclipse thing is, but I have to say that I had problems to find the way to write this journal just now, so it is not a good start.
To tell the truth, I don´t truly see the necessity of changing the old site. It was perfect to me. Very accesible and intuitive, with a good appereance. I hope I get used to this, really do. Because there is no other community about art as much as good than this one...
However, in case of all this means the end of DA in the future, I made an Instagram and Twitter account where I´m posting all the drawings that I´m submitting here. I will leave you the links below.

Top 5 Best Steven Universe Episodes
Several months ago I started to watch "Steven Universe” and I simply love this show. The best cartoon show I ever seen with difference. I just watched all the episodes of "Steven Universe" that have been realesed so far and I just wanted to do a "top 5" of my favourites episodes ^^. Before starting, warning: this journal contains MAJOR SPOILERS. Let´s begin so!
*MAJOR SPOILERS*
5: “Earthlings”: two very important things happen in this episode: the first fusion of Steven with a gem and the corruption of Jasper. I have to admit it was no so impact for me to see Smoky Quartz in action but the corruption of Jasper was really creepy, even her last dialogue. I have to say I like so much the voice actress of Jasper; she could give her a perfect insane tone to Jasper´s voice while she was corrupting. And the close-up of her mad eye looking to Steven, uhhh, so awsome…The whole scene of Jasper´s corruption fascinates me.
4: "Log Date 7 15 2": in this episode we can see the most inocent and hilarious facet of Peridot (that´s why she is my favourite gem). The several situations she finds in her new home makes her think about how things work on Earth. She investigates...but in her way (XD). To the end, Peridot tries to understand why Garnet are permanently fused and puts a lot of effort to do it. I love how the episode shows us Peridot wants to be part of this planet and always with the characteristic funny humor of this gem!
3: “That Will be All”: last episode of this last StevenBomb. I was doubting between this or “Gem Heist” but I definetly choose this because of the appearance of the Diamonds. “That Will be All” not only shows us new gem characters (seen in “Gem Heist” too) but it puts the two known Diamonds in the same scene. For me, seeing Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond and her Pearls interacting with each other was an amazing feeling. And I specially loved how they express “affection” towards her sister Pink Diamond. I mean, they have “soft” feelings too. For the other side, it was a sweetie surprise to see the Amethyst crew was so friendly. They even share the prankish personality of our Amethyst which is great to me. In summary, this episode brought us a lot of amazing discoveries: the Diamonds and her Pearls, the personality of the Amethysts and the bubbled Rose Quartzes. Hype guaranteed.
2: “Rose´s Scabbard”: this episode touches my heart every time I watch it. Sometimes, I feel very identify with Pearl. I usually admire my superiors and I really understand when Pearl gets sad when she realized she (apparently) wasn´t as important to Rose as she was thinking (or really wanted to be). Every time I watch this episode I feel the Pearl´s feelings for Rose: the admiration towards her, her sadness for Rose departure, her depression for the secrets that Rose didn´t told. And this is why I like so much this episode, because transmits me real feelings.
1: “Monster Reunion”: why is this episode the favoruite among my favourites when I said I loved so much “Rose´s Sccabard”? Well, because there is a thing that is worse than lose your precious lover: lose yourself. Your memories, your personality, your life. It´s a completly nightmare that I can´t even imagine. And in the same way “Rose´s Scabbard” could transmit me the Pearl´s feelings, “Monster Reunion” broke my heart with the poor Centipeetle. She is considered as a monster by the Crystal Gems, a vicious beast without reason and are true but is not her fault. In this episode, Centipeetle get partially recovered from her madness but she knows she is still mentally sick and there is no cure for her illness. She can only wait for the madness to return to her mind and this finally happens: the cries and tears represent terrible and perfectly the pure suffering and impotence of Centipeetle and the fact that anybody can help her, not even Steven. And despite this, there is a happy ending, which is perfect to my opinion. That´s why this episode is the favourite among my favourites, because when I see the suffering of Centipeetle tears come to my eyes.Soooo, this is my top 5 of best Steven Universe episodes. Dreamworks Dragons: Rise of Berk contest
The fact is this game organized a fanart contest whose theme was "Winter", so that you could draw any dragon of the franchise if your drawing had winter things. You know, snow, snowmans, snowflakes...and dragons, of course XD. I decided to participate in that contest and I did it with this drawing:
I titled it "Toothless´s Winter" (very original name, right?).
I have to say the contest had 10 potential winners and...I´m among them! I´m one of the 10 winners! Yay! Specifically, my drawing was the fourth most voted, with the 39.9% of the votes. The first one had 55.1% I think...Is not a bad result! The prize for all the 10 winners is 200 runes, which are the money of the game.
